Panic! At the Pharmacy
One of the quarterly editorial packages at RNG centered around attacks on traditional birth control methods, as well as the broader impact of attempts to ban abortion pills. Patients in states that enacted post Dobbs abortion bans started to get turned away for other medications deemed abortifacient, even when prescribed for non pregnancy related care.

For this package I sourced images from the Library of Congress from the era of the Comstock Act’s passing and other points in pre Roe America. We turned them into modern appropriate images based on photography found in the library’s creative commons library. These are the resulting images for the package.
